Collaboration takes effort, but the rewards may be well worth it, in the form of more funding, public visibility, and impact.
Can collaborative fundraising work for you? Click to GrantSpace tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 24, 2-3pm ET, to find out specifically:
- Why is collaborative fundraising often more effective?
- When does joint fundraising work - or doesn't work?
- What are the challenges? How can they be avoided or dealt with?
- How do I know if my organization is ready to co-fundraise with another nonprofit?
- YOUR QUESTION HERE. Most of the hour will be spent on readers' questions. Want to make sure your question gets asked? Email it to pon@foundationcenter.org.
Answering these and your questions will be our expert panelists:
Jonathan Howard is a fundraiser who co-founded Cause & Effect consulting services in 1996 and recently interviewed several nonprofits who did collaborative fundraising for various projects. He has worked on assignments in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Japan, Turkey, and other countries.
Jeffrey Ouellette is director of development for Central Square Theater in Cambridge, MA, which handles all fundraising, business and back office operations for two nonprofit theater companies to let them focus on their artistic missions.
We're looking forward to seeing you at GrantSpace tomorrow at 2pm ET! Sign up now.
Until then, bone up on your collaboration knowledge with our GrantSpace Collaboration page.
